I just checked Stevens Web page. The kernel is;

# 2.2.16 kernel .config file for BL3
Wireless options are not compiled in.

# CONFIG_NET_RADIO is not set


If someone set up a full Slackware 7.1 install, they could recompile the kernel to add this option. I don't know how much it would add to the kernel or how much it would slow things down.
