sftp is secure ftp
It usually comes as part of an ssh installation.
As I am a BL1 user, I cannot comment on bl2, but I'd guess slackware has a
package for ssh, and I'd expect that to include sftp.
ssh (Secure SHell) is usually part of a package with sftp, scp (secure cp),
and
some others I think
