Yes, you know it already, because BL 2.x is based on Slw 7.1.

In order to get prepared for dosemu you should install the
tgz packets necessary for X window GUI and for the c compiler.
There are precise instructions on the BL site.

Then go to dosemu site (through Google - I do not have the URL here)
and download the source code for dosemu 1.1.99 (which is meant as
dosemu "almost 1.2"). Unzip this to you /tmp directory.

Then get the packages indicated in the dosemu readme and d1/perl.tgz,
install them, go back to /tmp and try to compile.

Hopefully the error messages give you an idea of what is still
missing (most probably some commands included in busybox, eg. find).
It is quite practical to run the make command this way:

make 2>error 1>messages

So you can re-read all the output afterwards when your compile session
fails.
