I'm beginning to think there is some error in the BL2 installation
routine. I've had it set the root partition to the CD drive on a couple
of experimental installs. It seems to me the installation routine wants
to set the root partition to whatever device the installation media is on
(I'm recalling that both Sindi and Ron used their DOS partitions as the
/cd device from whence the install routine took the tgz files it needs).
Is BL set to enter the device location from the /cd (instead of
the /hd) directory into fstab as the root partition?

Thanks Steven, for the help. I guess I'll have to play
around with the software and hardware to get the
desired result.

It does not work for me either - I can get as far as www.ncf.ca/ncf/pda/
Then there is a link on that page to idesk.ncf.ca which is some sort of
download area for Internet software, for which you need to register.
