Gary,

I agree that neither my message nor yours is talking about Biblical
Hebrew. However, we have had a number of messages recently about
frequency of posting and length of messages. I posted my question to
Karl in hopes of reducing both. If all involved know that Karl is not
going to read messages longer than about 100 lines (based on his answer
to my question, 3 x 34 lines = 102 lines), then those replying to his
messages will hopefully either send shorter replies or not bother
replying knowing that he won't read it. This should result in fewer and
shorter messages on this list. And perhaps all of us, me included, will
be able to get more out of this list.

And now I will go back to lurking on the list and hoping to glean
nuggets of useful information from the sometimes fascinating discussions
on this list.
