John,

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for, but consider XUMCAH, (חֻמְצָה), 'acid', punctuated qubuc, schwa, qamac, but with no dagesh in the M, in spite of the KTIB XASER. Yet the pual form XUMCAH, (חֻמְּצָה), 'she was made sour' is also punctuated qubuc, schwa, qamac, but now with a dagesh in the M as per the rule.

In any event, these are only formal games.

First I want to point out that the word you gave is encoded in CCAT as <XUM:CFH>, as you left of the sheva and use the code of patah <A> for the qamatz <F>.

I did a search on the root <XMC> and the words you gave doesn't appear. Could you give me the book/chap/verse of these words?

This might be a formal game to you, but its not a game to me - as this is what I'm trying to find out.

John Steven
