There is also the wiki page entitled "install using chroot and rsync"[0]. I
setup my current system using that method, following Hamish's additions and
modifying it slightly to suit my needs. It gave me the benefits of doing the
install in tandem with my (mostly) working system, so there was no real down
time, and I was able to take my time on the install and not rush through the
process.
