To install from a harddrive, just copy the smgl.install script and the
install tarball from the cd into the root directory of an existing smgl
install.

Run the smgl.install script and away you go.

I've even done this from a chroot (for no particular reason). As long
as you aren't running grsecurity chroot protections and have
/dev|/proc|etc mounted in the chroot, it should be fine.
