The problem here is, still, the merging from one branch to another.
Perforce does this splendidly, other SCMs I'm not sure of. Subversion
does not, AFAIK, but SVK (perl interface to Subversion adding options
such as distributed work and local branches) can (again AFAIK). I
still have to try using these in an actual grimoire.
