Neuron suggested doing "make oldcongfig." Is this going to work?

The only config options that don't require input are make allnoconfig allyesconfig
and allmodconfig... those don't use the old config as the defaults then apply the
appropriate answers to the questions that are missing...

So the only option is to not have it update with sorcery system-update...
