I see your point but I still think it will be a huge mess just to have
it working.
It also occured to me that maybe we should stop thinking in a p4 way of
implementing that and see how it would work with whatever (darcs?) soft
we plan to choose as a replacement for p4. Maybe there are neat ways of
doing that with another soft that we haven't thought about yet.
