I've successfully put SMGL on a P133, 64Mb, but with a 2Gb HDD and /home and
/var/spool/sorcery mounted via NFS (I also turned off ARCHIVE, CCACHE, and
GATHER_DOCS and enabled strip and tiny compilation options).

Did you try passing the "lowres" (IIRC) option to the ISO boot so that it
doesn't use the framebuffer?
