That's a good method. I like the bucket and toilet plunger. I did actually
try a plastic wheelbarrow and small iron garden rake
which worked well. For ringing I will take 16 concrete blocks and lay them
on a slope. Put wet clothes on them in  pile,
put on clean rubber work boots and step on the wet clothes, flip over and
step on them again, then hang out to dry.

Depends on where the water goes: to your local wastewater treatment
plant vs. your landscape.

If it's going to your landscape, then you want to be using
greywater-safe cleaning products.
