Hi all:)

I get so cynical. It seems as if corporations will do all they can to extract
that extra profit -- even if it means producing products with ingredients
that are harmful to our health.

And I DO believe that the astronomical number of cancer patients are tied to
some of these products, and methods used.

Salt is cheap. So is water. Do you know that many manufacturers add a salt
and water solution to their meat products that can increase weight by 10%.
I'm
very sensitive to salt and just can't tolerate most cold cuts, and processed
food.

Also high fructose corn syrup. Cheap. But more and more Drs. are finding that
it's just not good for your body.

Sugar too is cheap. Most products contain far more sugar than needed. Shoot-
I find most pies, and cakes sickenly sweet.

And I'm sure others can add other products, and comments. And I for one am
real worried about Genetically Engineered Products in our food. I believe I
have
the right to know, and reject such.

But the government not only fails to protect us but allows producers to
include such items without telling us on the label.

Government also continues to weaken the organic foods standard to the benefit
of the mega producers at the expense of the small farmers, and market
gardeners who pioneered the organic foods movement.

Just my 3 cents:) Frank
