John,

There are actually 2 different books. "The Sustainable Vegetable Garden" in kind of an inexpensive condensed sequel to "Growing More Vegetables etc......." We sell them both through Seeds of Change. Both are excellent.

Aloha,

You also might want to find a
copy of John Jeavons' "Sustainable Vegetable Garden" which has great
info on sustainably growing a lot of food in a small space.

The actual title is "How to Grow More Vegetables: And Fruits, Nuts,
Berries, Grains, and Other Crops Than You Ever Thought Possible on Less
Land Than You Can Imagine" - looks like a new edition, since the title has
become even longer...!

There's a stripped-down version in their book "Lazy-Bed Gardening: The
Quick and Dirty Guide," and they have planning guides and so on for what
they call "Biointensive Mini-Farming" - a whole systems approach to
'growing soil'.
