Not to take you away from Eden, but I do have serious opposition to the
color scheme among other things. Well, not serious opposition. Let's
just say distaste. To be fixed whenever you can, yes?

Quick comments (probably more to come):

∑ Why do you have a search PIW button twice on the homepage? REDUNDANT.

∑ Don't like the colors. Here are codes for colors I like (from http://
www.visibone.com/colorlab/)
o CCCCCC
o 99CC66
o 669933
o 999999

∑ still unhappy with logo, an animator friend of mine is helping me and
I’ll scan something soon...

∑ I don’t like the way links are boldened – just put them in another
color underlined (the way they usually are)

∑ What happens to the nav bar when you get search results?!

∑ Can the font you type in the field with be the same as the font on the
website? (field font is times vs. website font is nicer – arial?)

∑ Previous page/next page buttons are messy – can you please have
something like google (where users can jump ahead/behind more than one
page)

Sorry about nit-picky-ness. Want this to look fantastic.

Thanks for your work, Chad!

adios
*Stephanie

Minor changes/fixes... should validate as XHTML 1.0 now John.

I have been playing around with the a plone color scheme, but it
really isn't working with the default layout. I'm not going to
persist in this direction unless I hear serious oposition to the
current color scheme and/or someone gives me three great colors.

I'm hoping things like bios will be internalized soon and edited by
their owners in the near future so don't worry if your bio isn't up to
snuff. Potentially a lot of the content of the site could end up in
the database.

My current plan is to leave website work for now and tune Eden a
little which includes fix the page caching feature (it's currently
broke) and decrease some of the search intensity (larger substrings,
etc) to make searches seem faster. This should only take a day or
so. I then want to add users and comments as well methods for users
to edit comments/bios/etc. We need to talk more about what a users
role[s] will be in regards to the database...
