Yes, deliberately so. I wanted to emphasize to first time viewers
that the site does have some content. I've had users of sites email
because they couldn't find the search bar... I also wanted to bulk
the content of the default page a bit. It can go away anytime if you
want, I'm not really attached. It would be nice to have a bit more
content on the front page.

This is really only two shades of green and two shades of gray. I
need another color. I'll play with this for a bit and see what
happens.

How do other people feel about the current color scheme? I know it is
kind of different, but are people just being nice or is it actually ok
with other folks.

Regarding both above paragraphs from different emails: I think
massively linked information is very helpful if the links actually go
to helpful places, including navigational hints. I think one way of
making it less messy visually is to tone down some of the default link
behaviors like different color and underline. Currently it's {
font-size: 105%; font-weight: bold; } but I think underlining would be
ok too. My first goal was readability followed by accessibility. Can
you tell me more why you prefer links blue and underlined beyond the
fact that that it is the way it ussually is?

My bad, fixed now...

Not sure why this is so... It should be the same as body, I even put
an additional font-family in the .textinput, but it doesn't change.
Can't help you for now...

Yes, eventually as this is an aspect of Eden, not the website. This
would be the sort of thing I'd expect to see as a feature request in
our issue tracking system. For right now, just remember that you want
this.
