I purchased 50 of Oikos's Dunbar plums this spring since they were mentioned on the list here & it sounded interesting.  When I received them they were tiny little twiggy starts with very little roots.  None of them were large enough to plant in place so I planted 20 out in a nursery row, all which have died & the remaining 30 I put in pots so I can nurse them to some kind of usability.  Of those 30 I have ONE that actually is growing & putting on vigorous growth, about half of the potted ones have died also & the remaining ones are fluctuating between defoliation & suspended animation.  Just saying.

A few years back, I purchased 3 Prunus maritima from Hartman's.  They just started fruiting this year and I was pleased with the fruit quality of at least one of them.  One was thin skinned, sweet and good flavor, one with thick tough skin and good flavor (but a little different) and the third just average.

Been eying Oikos's Nana and Ecos varieties with a possible purchase next spring.  Anybody have experience with these to share?  Space is limited so I want to get some nice quality for the few I can get.

Thanks
