I think someone may have mentioned it before, but Gurneys lists Carmine Jewel as in stock for shipping in the US (don't forget to use one of their coupons). A lot of the comments complain about how small the plants are, but St. Lawrence lists 6" to 12" plants as well. My mom got one from Gurneys last year and it was small, but very healthy and grew at least 2' last year.

It would be helpful if they named the propagators that can ship plants.
Actually, the word "propagators" rather than "nurseries" might be telling. Maybe the companies that can ship to the USA are big wholesale tissue culture labs, that can ship wholesale lots of tiny tissue cultured plantlets to American nurseries, which will grow them to a saleable size, then retail them to Americans. Just a theory.
