A couple of years ago I got some small Evans cherries, evidently tissue-cultured plants, from Alberta Nurseries and Seeds.

These small plants need good soil, careful watering and weeding. If they get it, they will grow well. I'm grateful to able to get sour cherries on their own roots. The price from AN&S was very low; good value.

I think someone may have mentioned it before, but Gurneys lists Carmine Jewel as in stock for shipping in the US (don't forget to use one of their coupons). A lot of the comments complain about how small the plants are, but St. Lawrence lists 6" to 12" plants as well. My mom got one from Gurneys last year and it was small, but very healthy and grew at least 2' last year.
