Alan,
I will tell you why I wouldnt use a university soil test.I cant speak to
UC Davis directly but most seem to fall way too short for the way I look at
the soil. They are mostly only interested in PH and NPK. I want to see the
CA/Mag balance and base saturation. I realize some private soil analysis are
much more expensive but the results pay for themselves.
