At one time we found them pretty tasty - I think they had cured or dried over the winter.  But eating some of our own, uncured, they had a slight  bitter aftertaste.  We never get enough to do much with - I think they might prefer a less humid climate than ours.   Hector Black zone 6 middle TN

Has anyone tried eating the fruit (nuts) of Xanthoceras sorbifolium?  How did you prepare them?  What did they taste like?
Second, are there any gleditsia enthusiasts out there?

Thanks,
Michele Stanton
