This is uncalled for. Do you think that being
insulted like this is somehow going to motivate us?

I do not object to paying somewhat higher dues; I'd
love the fruits on cards like CFRG has; I am working
on my article. I will not buy a guest membership for
a stranger, that makes no sense to me - why not just
donate money directly? I don't need more apple trees
(since I learned to graft, I have too many); if
someone offers something I could use, I'll happily
bid. You also apparently think we should only ask
what the money will be used for after having donated:
you can't be serious about that.
