mIEKAL,
Does this NJ fig have any unique characteristics, such as the ability to
overwinter in the garden. Do the leaves or fruit look different than
more common varieties?

Nothing in Cornucopia (1st edition) or in Fruit, Berry & Nut Inventory
(3rd edition) under Anita... In both the 3 choices beginning with A
are alma, armenian & adriatic....

Also located some cuttings of a very old fig growing in NJ planted long
ago by an Italian immigrant, could be interesting, parentage unknown.
