Nothing in Cornucopia (1st edition) or in Fruit, Berry & Nut Inventory (3rd edition) under Anita... In both the 3 choices beginning with A are alma, armenian & adriatic....
Also located some cuttings of a very old fig growing in NJ planted long ago by an Italian immigrant, could be interesting, parentage unknown.
