I have Holstein, and here in Oregon it's a good apple. Some tendency to
crack around the stem, and it doesn't keep very long, but if you like a tart
apple with distinct flavor, it's worthwhile. Too vigorous to suit me,
though.

I'd rate Holstein as above average. My guess is that it would fair
better in NH (vs So. Indiana).
Most years, flavor was sorta washed out. (like I am now. gettin' old,
etc.)
