I ended up with a DeLonghi toaster oven with a convection fan and dehydrate
setting. You can special order their dehydrating trays if you want to use
it for that. I went with it primarily because the trays are stainless
steel, the cost was low, and because I needed a toaster oven too. I'm
pretty happy with it, but I am a little worried about what will happen when
I really need to dry a large amount of fruit at once and it won't fit in the
oven. Any larger stainless steel dehydrators were just too much money.
