This list used to be on Yahoo. The list started on OneList
then was purchased by EGroups (or the other way round?), and
finally by Yahoo. The Yahoo interface with its popups between
messages and advertizements became objectionable to many. A
number of members were having trouble with their profile
(particularly if they didn't upgrade when it changed over to
Yahoo). Yahoo was also changing the profiles to send members
junk mail unless you went in to disable it again. This new
list became the optimal choice. The old messages are still
out there (although I don't know if you weren't a member
previously if you can access them):

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/nafex/messages

The current list has a web interface where you can read
messages:

https://lists.ibiblio.org/sympa/arc/nafex/

Then just click on the current month and the messages in date
order appear. And you can search from there. The big
disadvantage compared to Yahoo Groups is that you can't post
from the Web interface, you must log in to your own email to
do that.

I also regret that the original Yahoo messages couldn't be
transferred to this archive. Otherwise, this forum has been
run well, and NO POPUPS!!!!!

Not so, I have done and still do this in some of the yahoogroups I
participate of administer. Having said that, this list is working very
well also. I suspect that most would find them equivalent.
