Sorry, I ment to put in that information too.

I am in downtown Atlanta GA
Zone 7b

Now the only big failure I have had so far is the Sea
Buckthorn. I am not sure if I should try that again.
Based on what was discussed here, it seem to NOT like
clay soil and Atlanta heat. I may have watered it to
much as well.

I did have pomegranite die because I planted it to
early in spring after being in the greenhouse all
year.
We had a sharp freeze and it never recovered.

I do have (and hope to try) a number of marginal
plants for this region. I guess I love punishment.

The marginal ones on the subtropical side are:

Thomasville Citrangquat
Nagami and Meiwa Kumquat (hope to get)
Jelly Palm (hope to get)
Loquate (Im will get fruit out of this thing one year)
Pineapple Guava
Pakastan Mulberry
Negronne fig
Chilean Guava (this one may be a hopeless wish)

The marginal ones on the temperate side are:

Stella Cherry
Glendale Goosberry
Rhubarb (hope to get)
