Hi,

All I can say is that poplars do not create damp micro climates during the
summer, full of all kinds of biting insects. Come dusk they leave their
evergreen micro climate and come to where you are relaxing to feed.

Reducing the number of biting insects during the summer, is the main
reason I have no problem replacing evergreens with deciduous trees.

Just my reasons for classifying evergreens as dirty and buggie.
