For small hoops, I just use an EMT bender- about $30 at a DIY big box. It looks more "dutch barn" style than smooth half circle, but it's fast and the bender is useful for other things once I finish creating a million hoops (ha).

I've also had the local tech school build the bender that Tod Hanley designed (as well as used his hoop house design) and it works really well. The tech school only charged me material costs ($95) and I threw in something for the kids- $125 seems to be a good price. The good thing about Tod's design is they are quick to put up and I took them down to move them in a couple of hours- not bad for $1000 (Eliot Coleman may have the $$ to roll thing around on tracks, I don't).

I wonder if all these hoop benders will be on ebay in a year or two once everyone gets their hoop building jones taken care of.
