The wind in our area blows mostly North and south. I try and run my rows North and south because the plants get less wind. Summer storms with high wind can destroy many plants. Some of our fields are quite hilly, so we run the rows how ever we have to. Bill in Texas

Does anyone know of research or have any experience with the effect of field orientation (east-west, north-south).
