Did a couple farm shows/conferences this past week. Had a chance to stop by the Mechanical Transplanter booth and saw there was a new Ap-1 Clean seeder model. It has a quick release, and new handle bar designed to slide to plant form an offset position if so desired. There front drive wheel is a bit smaller and and the gearing is a tad bit different. Same principle same metal parts. Less parts to deal with changing seeds. I did a REALLY short video of it which can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAkeolYqyxU I still say that the AP-1 is the hands down best single row human powered planter around. I purchased a Willsie Potato digger at this same show and will review it when I get a chance to use it this summer.
