I am glad to hear that someone else thinks that the quality of soaker hoses has gone down.  I have some old ones, 5 years plus, and they are still in good condition.  I put out some new ones this year and they keep blowing holes in them and I have probably patched each one 2-3 times.  Even when I reduce the pressure, they aren't working very well.

Next year I am going to use drip tape with 6 inch spacing.  I have seen this kind of irrigation equipment at work and it looks like it will do what I want it to.

Greetings,

Until now, we have been using ordinary soaker hoses for our garden
beds.  Our raised beds are 4'x25' so a 50' hose is perfect.  The quality
of soaker hoses has dropped so bad that they are no longer a viable
alternative.  I am wondering what everyone else is using.

Bright Blessings,
Kim
