Does anyone have any experience growing asparagus and if so, do you have any favorite varieties?  Those adapted to organic culture are of most interest.

Thank you,

Subject: [Market-farming] Digging Forks / Under Cutters / Etc.
Date: Tue, 28 Oct 2008 06:45:51 -0400

The thread on digging forks has me contemplating root harvest in general. (carrots, beets, parsnips, etc.)

Is anyone out there utilizing anytype of three-point under-cutters / lifters / retro-fitted potato diggers / etc.

If so what type (or how'd you construct it), what crops do you harvest, how does it work out?

If anyone else has tried something along these lines and it hasn't worked that is of course good info as well.

Thanks,

Brian
