Oh, thank goodness! I was beside myself with worry. It is good to know that we have intelligent people watching from satellites and elsewhere to keep us safe. I do have one question though. Can you get nano-salsa to go with the nano-chips?

ATTENTION GROWERS!!
This Just In from Headquarters:
Due to clandestine discussions of the "walking onion sets" phenomenon that national surveillance recently picked up on the internet, USDA's rapid response team has created a companion system to NAIS called NPIS -- the National Plant Identification System -- to monitor suspicious activity; the spread of disease in Plant Matter and provide overall plant security -- for the protection of all citizens and the food supply.
All smaller-scale plant growers will henceforth be required to purchase and install gov't approved Monsanto-brand geno-nanochips and gene gun insertion equipment to install the computerized radio tracking devises into ALL edible plant material for the purpose of monitoring unwarranted movements and protecting national security.
Due to the recent budget constraints in Congress this is a producer-funded, joint Homeland Security/USDA operation and a slight user checkoff fee will be charged to cover the costs of the satellites as well as the duplication of program specialists, offices, computer monitoring equipment, etc. in both Agencies. Because of their well- established due-diligence and special pecuniary arrangements verified corporate-scale growers will only be required to purchase one geno-nanochip per field.
PROTECTION IS PARAMOUNT. COMPLIANCE IS MANDATORY. THIS MEANS YOU!!
Thank you, and have a nice day,
Sincerely,
USDA/NPIS

For the last several years, our onion sets 'walk' overnight. This
year, they are walking in the hoophouse as well as in the fields.
While we plant biointensively, on intensively within rows, the next
morning beds will have gatherings of sets in them. Usually 3 sets
bunched together by their tops.
How about slugs? If you go out at night you might be able to catch them in
the act.
