A couple of varieties that always perform well here are Dasher II and Turbo. A number of companies carry them.

Last year I asked about sources for greenhouse cucumbers.  Carmen was suggested to me, and I tried them.  They are great.  What I am looking for this year is a good source for regular size slicing cukes that are suitable for the greenhouse.  My customers like the long English type, but also like the slicing cukes.  I have grown Socrates from Johnny’s, but would like to find another source for the future.  I used to grow Diva in the greenhouse but they are not labeled for greenhouse use anymore, and I did have problems with them putting off a lot of Male flowers which I guess will happen under stress. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Also, I have a question for Bob, do you dilute the Greenshield before spraying on your greenhouse walls?  I do use greenshield and It does work great.
