I noticed a number of woody species flowering last Fall in northern Illinois, including Rhododendrons. The extreme drought led to woody's going dormant mid-summer. When rainfall returned they broke out of dormancy and started flowering. Makes me wonder what we'll have this Spring, bsides some dead woody's.

I am having the same problem in Northern Illinois. (There is a magnolia tree blooming down the street) With daylight hours increasing and mild temperatures, many species are confused, but lilies are very hardy and can handle frequent extreme temperature fluctuations.
