Does anyone on this list have experience with Insurance for a Certified
Farmers' Market? We are a new FM and are struggling with what insurance we
need. Can we have the producers sign a hold harmless clause and require
each to have their own liability insurance, or do we as a group have to
provide that. Guess I'm asking, what are our options? Somewhere in my
mind, I thought there would be some sort of insurance available through the
USDA at a reduced price. Why should we even bother being certified anyway?
Hope you all can answer these questions today. We have a meeting tonight.
Thanks
Mark (West Texas Zone 7b)
