It's difficult to remember just HOW different the different
regions of this huge country of ours really are!

Locally - in the tiny, tiny farmers market in town -
backyard gardeners don't appear to be a problem.

What is a problem is one person who buys produce wholesale
somewhere and brings it in - he undercuts the locals. It's
very apparent that he does not grow what he sells.

Evidently, the manager isn't strong enough or doesn't have
enough authority to stop this. I know she would like to
stop it (because she told me this). I don't know the ins
and outs of how this market is legally organized, or what
authority she does or doesn't have.

Good luck, Matt! :)
