That said, I don't always use organic seeds.

I would *prefer* to use organic seeds, just as I would
*prefer* to eat organically grown food, but my decisions are
often guided by practicality: what I can actually afford
with respect to organic food (very little indeed), what
seeds I can actually find organically grown without spending
a career searching for them.
