Leigh is confronting INCOMPETENT AND NON-AUTHORITATIVE generalizations.

He is not confronting GENERALIZING. That is what you are doing.

If Leigh was spouting INCOMPETENT AND NON-AUTHORITATIVE generalizations then he would be the pot calling the kettle black.

The fact is that Leigh is very competent and highly involved in what he is talking about at a professional and national level and has been for many years. This means he is not the pot calling the kettle black as he was not criticizing generalization but INCOMPETENT AND NON-AUTHORITATIVE generalization which he is NOT involved in. In fact your comment about playing nice is demeaning and condescending.

Jay has a tendency to start telling the farm world how they are screwing up and how to fix their problems. Jay does this now and again and most folks just let him babble. Some even think he's an authority. LOL!

So lighten up and quit generalizing youself. There's not a darn thing wrong with honest communication that calls it like it sees it. Feel free to use the DEL key if honesty offends you so much.

I for one want to hear Leigh far more than Jay as Leigh happens to know something about the real world of small farming and has proven farming value at a major level in his resume.

Whoa! Let's not have the pot calling the kettle black. I see several
generalizations in your response as well....>Brigette Leach
