I've always been the first to send newbies searching for locust posts for food garden construction. Getting locust right now isn't easy for me and I seem to hear more and more people talking about using pressure treated wood in their organic gardening situation.

I am not organically certified and have not searched the regs to see how pressure treated wood is handled. I certainly want to meet or excede those rules.

What I need to do right now is to build a post and beam storage shed and I need to put in about 30 ft of fencing (6posts)

I guess my first question is: did that 'safe' pressure treated wood ever become available?

I don't want to error on the side of neurosis, that's why I'm putting this question before the group.

If there is no 'safe' pressure treated avail. yet, what steps do I need to take to be able to buy my posts from Lowes?

Thanks -Allan
