Marie,

Yes things have settled down a bit, but I rather doubt that one could say
they have returned to normal. The tornado really changed a lot of lives
around here.

I suppose trying to create habitat for owls or hawks is out of the question.
I sometimes think we have too many hawks. Owls are territorial, so it is
unlikely that one would have more than one or two in the same area. Of
course they are also hard on chickens.

We will find out here shortly. I have thirty layers coming in about three
weeks.

Rick, glad to hear from you. Hope things are better in your neck of the
woods! Planting more for the rabbits sounds like a kind thing to do,
but here, they eat the green beans down to nubs - ALL the green beans.
Doesn't matter if you have two rows or 1/2 acre. I love to eat rabbit
but everyone says not to in the summertime. If we could do that, I
would never have to buy meat.
