I don't have any data, but I would start with 55 gallon drums rather
than 1 gallon milk jugs. I had a fairly tight, inflated, 48'x18' cold
frame in which I had 6 or 8 water-filled drums. It would be hard to
make any night time temperature gain claim; there wasn't much. My
guess is that several thousand gallons were needed rather than several
hundred.
