While web-plowing this evening I became intrigued with green garlic,
which is basically garlic which is sold at about the scallion stage.
Has anybody grown these ? Apparently you can space the cloves on a
1.5" grid, yielding about 500 plants in a square yard...check it out

Questions:
1. What is the going price for them?
2. What varieties work best?
3. Are there any special post-harvest handling issues?
