Thanks, y'all, for your suggestions about how to deal w/ our abundance
of fennel and lemon balm! Great suggestions, one and all.
I'll keep you posted on what we decide to do. Now - if I could only
hire someone to help us pick! We picked nearly 100,000 peppers last
Wednesday - w/ another 1M+ in the fields - and have basil, cilantro,
parsley, tomatoes, and some elderberries left to harvest (not to mention
the lemon balm and fennel!).
Any ideas on where to find employees in the D.C/Baltimore farm
community? We're paying $8/hour - plus produce or chile man products.
Help!!!!!!!
