Bermuda grass will be an interesting challenge for the vinegar treatment
because it can store reserve energy and survive the burndown, like
established canada thistle. It may take several sprays. Any vinegar should
do but cheapest x strength will determine most cost effective choice. There
was a pretty good thread about this on this forum earlier, probably in the
archives.
Shouldn't be a problem using vinegar around the base of apple trees. Ironic
choice.
