Let me ask all the corn farmers on this list whether or not they
allow some hedgerows of trees to grow in the middle of their
fields or is every square inch filled with corn.
If you provided a little bat habitat, they would probably solve
many of your insect problems. They just need a place
to hang out in winter that is protected from the elements.
Just a thought.
