Regards to the list:

I've not tried this but it was demonstrated at the organic farming workshops last week. I think I might try doing it this year. So far, our best results have been cages made with woven wire fence. The worst trouble we had with them was a fierce storm with high winds came and blew a lot of them over. They had been anchored with bent wire, but we may try tent stakes this year with them.

Has anybody tried staking tomatoes using the method of fence posts every 8' and tying back plants that are between them with twine? Did it work out ok? Also is it a method that works well in PYO establishments? Any other methods to suggest for PYO? Jacqueline
